Maya is an Oakland-based songwriter. She attributes her musical career and identity to her years as a song leader at Tawonga. From 2012 when she sat in with Isaac to 2016 when she served for the second year as head song leader, Maya’s camper dreams really came true. Maya currently performs her original music, but always makes sure that there are singalong moments.
