Anna Fogelman

Anna is a former Tawonga summer staff member (1992–1997) and year-round team member (1992–1995). She found Camp Tawonga by chance, but describes her first day there as “the first day of the rest of my life”. Directors Ken Kramarz (z”l), Debra Newbrun, and Ann Gonski (z”l) are cherished mentors of Anna’s, both personally and professionally. The Tawonga community and values have been foundational to many of Anna’s most important career and life choices.

Anna currently works as the Operations Manager for Berkeley Hillel, where she loves supporting Jewish students as they engage and grow Jewishly. She is also an active community volunteer, serving on several boards and committees, and brings her commitment to building belonging wherever she goes. Anna is honored to serve on the Tawonga Board and give back to the organization that has made such a profound impact on the world.

Anna lives in Berkeley with her husband Michael (a former Tawonga camper!), and they have two young adult children, Eli (20) and Naomi (18).
