Spring Service Weekend
At Tawonga, we believe shared space means shared responsibility. We invite you to join us for Spring Service Weekend, a unique way to reconnect, give back, and help share the responsibility of caretaking the land.
When
TBD – Spring 2025
Who
Spring Service Weekend is designed for people who care about Tawonga and their partners and friends. Must be 21+ to attend.
Program Overview
This weekend is rooted in coming together in service and making a meaningful impact on Camp, intentionally stewarding the land together. As we prepare for another summer of fun, adventure and growth, there are crucial projects around Camp that need your help. By participating in our Spring Service Weekend, you will play an essential role in ensuring Tawonga remains the magical place it has been for the next 100 years!
Expect this weekend to be physically intensive, when you will choose from a variety of projects including preparing garden beds, helping our foresters with land stewardship including creating and lighting burn piles, working on trail maintenance and more.
Cost
Participating in this program is largely a work exchange. You can choose to contribute between $80 and $360, helping us cover the cost of food and lodging. If cost is a limiting factor for you, please reach out to us!
Lodging
You will be taking it back Camp style, sleeping in a shared cabin with 2-5 other people. You will be able to request bunkmates, but should expect to meet someone new! All cabins will be insulated and have space heaters.
How to Register
Register for the retreat through your CampInTouch account.
