Up in the Sierras during summer time, the temperature rises at camp. Counselors ensure that campers stay hydrated throughout the day and apply (and re-apply) their sunblock!

Today’s kitchen menu:

• Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, toast, and orange slices
• Lunch: Sloppy Joes, chips, and green salad
• Dinner: Mac ‘n cheese, roasted broccoli and carrots, and salad

Vegetarian alternatives are provided for camp meals, in addition to cereal and oatmeal or grits for breakfast, and sun butter & jelly sandwiches during lunch and dinner.
