👪 Who
Families with kids ages 6+

⏰ When
Sunday April 12th, 10am-1:00pm (Plan to arrive by 9:45 am, so you have time to find parking)

🌲Where
We’ll meet at the trailhead parking lot of our fabulous East Bay Regional Parks in the Oakland Hills (exact location will be shared upon registration).

🎒What to Bring
Water, sunscreen, snacks, and a lunch to eat along the trail. Wear closed toed shoes. Journal, paper, and pen optional.

This hike takes place during the special time in the Jewish calendar between Passover and Shavuot, when it is a tradition to count the Omer (49 days between Pesach and Shavuot). This season invites reflection, intention-setting, and personal growth. During the hike, those who wish will be invited to journal, quietly reflect, or set intentions, inspired by the Omer period.

Please note: The hike is 2.5 miles and includes 446 feet of elevation gain and is considered moderate, with some steeper hills both up and down. We’ll move at a relaxed pace and take plenty of breaks.
