Beautiful Tawonga Day
Today was yet another beautiful day at Camp Tawonga! Some of the activities campers participated in that you can see in the below gallery include Gaga, candle making at A&C, s’mores, story telling with our program staff and more. We are getting excited for our first Shabbat with campers of the season tomorrow – see you then!

As another week begins, campers are carrying forward the joy, connection, and sense of belonging that make Tawonga feel a little like Shabbat every day of the week.

Halfway through Camp Tawonga’s Staff Training Week, Camp Director Aaron Mandel reflected while sitting by the lake: “I feel like every summer is the best summer at Tawonga. It’s cheesy, but I mean that. We just keep getting better and better every year.”
Over the past week, more than 200 summer staff members gathered for our annual week of trainings to prepare for the 1,300 children and teens who will be joining us this summer for joyful Jewish experiences. We’ve been waiting all year for this!
