Ways to Give

Your donation will give campers the chance to experience true belonging, self-discovery and joyful Jewish community – free from screens and surrounded by nature. With each new skill learned, comfort zone stretched and Jewish value imprinted, campers stand a little taller, more self-assured each day of who they are.

You can create this kind of impact with a gift in many ways:

Give via Zelle

Camp Tawonga now accepts donations through Zelle. If you prefer to give directly from your bank account, you can send your gift quickly and securely using Zelle. Your generosity helps ensure children, teens, and families can experience the connection, joy, and belonging that define Tawonga.

How to Give via Zelle

Open your banking app.
Select “Send with Zelle.”
Enter our Zelle ID: Tawonga
Enter your gift amount.
In the memo line, include your email address and any designation (Where it’s needed most, Tawonga’s Campership Fund, etc.). Including your email address ensures we can provide you with an acknowledgement letter for your tax deductible donation.
That’s it — your gift goes directly to support Tawonga’s mission.

Donor Advised Funds

A donor advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations you care about.

When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to a DAF at a public charity, you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Those funds can be invested for tax-free growth and you can recommend grants to virtually any IRS-qualified public charity, such as Tawonga.

Are you looking to donate through your Donor Advised Fund?
⋅ If your fund is held at the Jewish Community Federation click here.
⋅ If your fund is held at Schwab, Fidelity or BNY Mellon click here.
⋅ Do you have a DAF held at another institution? Let us know by emailing Rona Teitelman at [email protected].

Have you already made a grant to Tawonga from your DAF?
⋅ If you’ve already recommended a grant to Tawonga, thank you! Please email Mollie Breger at [email protected] to let us know so that we’re able to acknowledge your gift promptly.
