Hello Session III!

The first day of Session III began today as the campers stepped off the buses to a raucous group of counselors singing them in to Camp and welcoming them with open hearts and outstretched hands. There is a distinct feeling and palpable energy in the air as campers hugged old friends, met new ones and began bonding with their bunkmates and counselors. 

After the campers got off the buses, their names were called out by bunk. After some big hugs and high fives to their counselors and bunkmates, they played some icebreakers and name games followed by a havurah hike where they got a tour of Camp. After moving in to their cabins everyone came together for our first meal at Camp. Dinner was followed by the first song session of Session III. Everyone then participated in the Opening Campfire where they recited cabin cheers to introduce their bunks to the rest of Camp.

All of us here are extremely excited for what the next three weeks has in store for the campers and we are excited to share it with you!
