Thai noodle bar with diced chicken, cabbage slaw and sun butter sauce

Delicious vegetarian and vegan options are available for every meal, in addition to a “middle table” with alternative meal options to meet every camper’s needs.

During breakfast, the middle table offers a wide selection of cold cereal and milk (dairy-free options available as well), in addition to hot cereal with a variety of toppings. Each lunch and dinner, campers can also choose from options at the middle table, including sun-butter and jelly sandwiches, tuna sandwiches and hummus. A salad bar with ample fixings is also available to campers and staff for every meal to either supplement or replace the options on the menu that day.

Today

The unit of Haifa (G-7, G-8, B-7, B-8A and B-8B) returned from their backpacking trips today, while G-9, G-10A and G-10B were on the Challenge Course today practicing “challenge by choice.”

Tomorrow

Everybody is in Camp tomorrow to enjoy the last full day of Session II.

What’s so special about today? We are celebrating the birthdays of  Micah C. and Sofia S.,two of our amazing Session II campers! Both get to celebrate their special days with a famous Camp Tawonga birthday bowl!

Did You Know …

Each year, we try to bring our Tawonga community “down the mountain” through events held in the Bay Area. One of these events is our annual Erev Rosh Hashanah Celebration. Join us this year on Sunday, September 29 at San Rafael’s beautiful McNears Beach from 3pm to 5pm. Check out this video about this beautiful celebration and secure your ticket here.
