Juliet Sampson
Board member since: 2022
Juliet was born and raised in San Francisco where she returned after living abroad for 25 years. Camp Tawonga was a source of great joy to Juliet as a camper, as it has been to her three children, one of whom has become a counselor. Juliet is Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Anthropocene Capital Management, a firm that invests in companies seeking to solve environmental and social challenges. Formerly, she was Chief Economist of Emerging EMEA at HSBC in London and Senior Currency Strategist at Bank of America (London). She has more than two decades of experience in country risk and financial market analysis in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Juliet holds an MA in International Economics and European Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and BAs in History and Italian Language from Middlebury College. Juliet resides in San Francisco with her husband and children – when they aren’t at camp or college. The daughter of a past Tawonga Board President, Juliet is delighted to be back in the Tawonga fold.
