Farewell Taste of Camp
This morning, campers said their goodbyes to our staff and many new-found friends whom they’ve grown fond of during the week. Campers were treated to a final breakfast and a ruach-filled Song Session in the Dining Hall. Cabins gathered to share Memory Sheets with their Units and reminisced on the many highlights of A Taste of Camp.
Campers truly felt the love as they exited through the “Tunnel of Love” formed by staff who lined the path to the buses. Our beloved song leaders “sang them out” accompanied with the farewell classic, “Leaving on a Jet Bus.”
It has been such a joy to spend this week with our campers and give them a “taste” of Tawonga. We sincerely hope to see them back here next summer and stay in touch throughout the year!
P.S. Next week, you will receive an email with a link to high resolution photos from the blog this session. These will be available to download at no cost.
We would love to stay connected with your family throughout the year! Check back here for family-friendly Tawonga Down the Mountain programs throughout the year, like our Erev Rosh Hashanah Celebration at San Rafael’s McNear’s Beach on September 29 (more info coming soon)!
And be sure to stay in the loop on Tawonga happenings by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
