Hello, Session IV!

We are so thrilled to welcome Session IV! Camp Tawonga was full of energy as campers got off the bus and met their counselors and bunkmates. After some introductions, campers played ice breakers, name games, unpacked and settled in with their new bunk-mates and counselors. Campers also took a short “Havurah Hike” to get adjusted and oriented to the different areas of Camp– the place they will call home for the next couple of weeks.

This evening, Session IV got to know each other even better during Tawonga’s traditional Opening Campfire, where each bunk performed a fun and creative one-minute skit to introduce themselves and their cabin to the rest of Camp. We are so excited to get to know each and every camper and can’t wait for this epic session to take off.

Here are the photos from our first day together and stay tuned for more throughout the next couple weeks.

P.S. For parents of Session IV campers who are tuning in, please note that we are only able to post a photo of every camper once per week. If you do not see your child on the blog after a week (and would like to), email casey@tawonga.org. For more on what to expect from our summer blog, please read this post.
