Notes from the Road: A Taste of Quest

Did you know that Tawonga’s programs extend outside our sprawling 160 acres in the Stanislaus National Forest? For campers looking for more adventure, we offer 1, 2, and 3 week Teen Adventure Quests throughout the Sierras and the West Coast. Quests bring the magic of camp on the road — quest leaders (from our highly trained Wilderness Department) strive to give questers the authentic Tawonga experience while road tripping to gorgeous settings, hiking, climbing, mountain biking and more.

Last week, 12 Tawonga teens ventured into Yosemite National Park to experience A Taste of Quest: six days of adventure on the road! Much like A Taste of Camp, this shorter, six-day Quest is designed to give teens a taste of what the longer, two to three week programs feel like. Below, check out some highlights from this epic wilderness road trip:

12 campers, a mix of 7 boys and 5 girls all between the ages of 10-12
