Ruach and More!

Session III campers are settling in nicely here at Camp Tawonga. Today, between song session, unit swims and regular activities, some bunks are also beginning to learn about this summer’s Jewish theme, Hineni, which means “I am here” or “I am present.”

All campers will have the opportunity to explore this theme during Ruach (spirit) Hour every week, led by our Jewish programmer, Genevieve. During this programming, in addition to learning about the meaning behind Hineini, campers will also discuss how this theme applies to their own lives, both here at Camp and back home. Ruach Hour is one of the many ways campers are able to explore and reflect upon their sense of spirituality and connection to Judaism during the session.

Stay tuned for this evening’s blog post on Session III Livnot and more!
