Emily Dean
Emily joined the Camp Tawonga team in January 2024. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she made her way to the Bay Area in 2020. Driven by a strong commitment to help organizations secure the funding they need for impactful programs, Emily has worked for various non-profits in San Francisco, including Larkin Street Youth Services and Food Runners.
Emily holds an MA (Hons) degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and is a passionate advocate for creating positive social change. She sees philanthropy as a tool for good and works hand-in-hand with funders to create a lasting impact within the community.
In her free time, you’ll find Emily supporting her local library and exploring the breathtaking landscapes throughout the Bay Area. Emily is thrilled to be part of the Tawonga team and contribute to creating magical experiences for campers, fostering connections with nature, and promoting self-esteem.
