Tawonga’s Chris Salwasser Wins Local “Hard Working Man” Contest
By: Aaron Mandel
Every week, the local country music station, 93.5 KKBN – The Mother Lode’s Country – holds a “Hard Working Man” contest, judging nominations with serious discernment. Today, Camp Tawonga’s very own Chris Salwasser, Buildings and Grounds Manager since 2006, received the honor of “Hard Working Man” and will hold this well-deserved title all week long.
As I wrote in my formal nomination to KKBN,
Chris takes care of Camp Tawonga’s 160 acres so over 1,000 kids a summer can have the time of their lives. He’s got a beautiful family who he takes care of too, his wife Angie and their kids and grand kids. Chris never says “no” to anything we need him to do!
Tawonga is incredibly fortunate to have Chris on our team, living at Camp year-round and taking care of our beautiful property along with Buildings and Grounds team members Keith and Rick. On behalf of everyone at Camp Tawonga, a hearty “Yasher Koach” to Chris — our favorite hard working man this week and always!
