First Backpacking Trips Return!
This afternoon we welcomed the units of Nitzanim and Chalutzim back from their backpacking trips and heard amazing, triumphant stories of trail summiting, animal sightings and star gazing!
It’s clear to see that these bunks (B-Aleph, G-Aleph, B-Bet, G-Bet, B-9, G-9, B-10 and G-10) have bonded even more closely as a result of their backcountry adventures, and we can’t wait for the rest of Camp to go on their trips, too. Tomorrow morning the bunks in Galil (B-3, G3, B-4, G-4A and G-4B) will head out for backpacking!
While Nitzanim and Chalutzim bunks took the afternoon to get cleaned up and enjoy some relaxed activities like movement meditation and a tea party, other bunks were busy getting into lots of fun activities! A & C welcomed campers from several units this afternoon as it’s always a nice place to hang out in the shade and get creative! The activities offered today included tie dye, shrinky dinks and a Camp favorite – button making.
We finished off the night with Gender Campfires and are looking forward to another great day at Tawonga tomorrow!
