Join Us!
Join your Camp Tawonga community on Sunday, September 9 from 3-5pm for our annual Erev Rosh Hashanah Celebration! We will gather in the beautiful redwoods of Joaquin Miller Park for an inspiring, musical outdoor service and celebration to welcome the Jewish new year together.
Program
All are welcome, from babies to great grandparents! This is a family-friendly service full of Tawonga ruach (spirit,) learning and song led by our service founders Deborah Newbrun (also 2018 Covenant Award winner and Tawonga’s Senior Jewish Educator), Sue Reinhold and Isaac Zones. Children ages 5-12 can also join a separate kid program led by Tawonga staff with new year-themed activities. Watch this video to learn more about the day!
