This year, for kids AND adults
Join us on the farm for a joyous Sukkot celebration and all-ages day of play!
Adults – Sukkot is a time for joy and nourishment, and you deserve some. This year, we invite you to take our adult-only mini workshops and, if you have kids, drop them off with our fabulous farm educators. They will build their own sukkot (temporary shelters), cook farm-to-table meals, and explore/work in our garden in age-appropriate ways.
Festival Schedule:
1:00 – 2:00 pm: Urban Adamah’s Signature Farm Festival Stations
Explore the farm together as a family through crafting, cooking, animal care, and more!
2:00 – 3:00 pm: Adult Workshops and Children’s Programming
Adult Workshops:
Sweet New Year: Chocolate Making Workshop
Farm to Glass: Seasonal Craft Cocktails
Joy of Motion: Movement and Dance Class
Children’s Programming:
Ages 5 – 6: Fairy House Building and Apple Tasting in the Children’s Garden
Ages 7 – 8: Apple Sauce on the Bike Blender and Art Making in the Sukkah
Ages 9 and Up: Shelter Building and Pizza Making in the Retreat Center Area
3:00 – 4:00 pm: Octopretzel Concert
Octopretzel is an interactive and engaging concert experience for kids and their parents! Comprised of original songs as well as traditional favorites, Octopretzel’s music is whimsical and fun, and has an underlying connections to nature, feelings, and story.
Families are welcome to stay together for the whole festival, exploring the different stations and working side-by-side on farm projects! Food will be available for sale. Children must be 5+ and potty trained to take part in our children’s programming from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.
