We Can’t Wait For The Campers!
What a week it’s been! This week, known as In-Service Training, nearly 200 staff members moved to Tawonga to begin learning, bonding and preparing for the coming summer. Led by our dedicated director team, the staff participated in numerous training sessions both as a whole and within their departments. Staff concentrated on the skills and knowledge needed to give our campers the best and safest summer possible as well as how to live in a community with love and intention.
Here at Camp all training and activities for staff are rooted in our Mission: positive self-image and self-esteem, creating a cooperative community, tikkun olam and spirituality and positive Jewish identity. Staff from all departments are here ready to support the kids– from the Counselors taking care of them to the Prep Cooks making their food, from the Maintenance Staff taking care of Camp to the Health Center, Drivers, Wilderness Leaders and beyond, everyone here is ready to play their part in creating an incredible summer experience for the kids. Below are some photos of our staff, ready and waiting for the first kids to come this Sunday. Shabbat shalom!
