Session IV is Here!

Session IV has arrived! As the campers got off the buses they were enthusiastically greeted by our staff members singing, “We welcome you to Camp Tawonga, we’re mighty glad you’re here!” Campers hugged old friends, met new ones and high-fived their counselors — the beginning steps in forming the friendships that will grow throughout the next few weeks.

After campers were split into their bunk assignments, they played a few ice breakers and name games to get to know each other. This was followed by Havurah Hikes, where cabins walk around and familiarize themselves with the important Camp locations and landmarks. After the Havurah Hikes, our entire Camp community enjoyed a delicious dinner freshly prepared by our Kitchen staff, followed by the first song session of Session IV– so much ruach! Then everyone gathered at the Stage for the Opening Campfire where all bunks introduce themselves to the rest of Camp through short skits and cheers.

We are so excited for what the next few weeks have in store! The staff are so eager to provide a positive and meaningful time this session, creating great memories and long lasting friendships. Check out more photos from today below and stay tuned for more blog posts all session long!
