Blocks and Beyond

Today Session IV campers participated in their first full day of bunk activities. From session to session and cabin to cabin, no two schedules are ever the same at Camp. Our counselors put time and intention into creating bunk schedules that are closely informed by their kids’ expressed interest.

There are SO many amazing things to explore at Tawonga, and schedules are made up of the many activity blocks we have to offer. Here are just some of the cool blocks campers will be getting into this session: tie die and wood burning at Arts & Crafts, the Challenge Course, cooking with food from our organic farm and garden, playing ga-ga (Israeli handball), making salve with our Teva (nature) staff, braiding challah for Shabbat, storytelling with our drama specialist, paddle-boating on the lake, getting gnarly (a special Tawonga tradition), face painting at the Tuolumne River (that runs through Camp), archery, jazzercize, Unit Swim and more!

Check out some pictures from the day, and tune back in for more tonight!
