Camp Spirit Strong
The Camp community is continuing to support each other and honor Eli in meaningful ways. With TLI teens returning from their backpacking trip this afternoon, every Session B camper is in Camp tonight and the community spirit is strong. After a delicious BBQ dinner outside, the whole community participated in a lively campfire at dusk complete with Tawonga favorites including “Ratlan Bog” and “Big Fish, Little Fish”.
Following the campfire, campers participated in a beautiful havdalah ceremony. The havdalah ritual highlights the distinction between the sacred and the ordinary as we transition from the restful Sabbath to an active new week. Though it has been a challenging few days, the campers and staff continue to demonstrate their resilience and the healing power of community.
