Tawonga Tidbit

Tawonga Tidbit

It was another beautiful day at Camp Tawonga!

The bunny pen reopened today for a visit from G-8, and all of Camp welcomed a special guest for an epic Song Session.

G-10 brought back their favorite “water world” block where they work the use of water, cups and pitchers into traditional camp games like “Duck, Duck, Goose” and “People to People.”

Singer and songwriter Rick Recht paid a visit during Song Session and sang his song “The Hope,” “One Day” by Matisyahu as well as other traditional Jewish summer camp songs along with our Tawonga songleaders.

All Units gathered after dinner for “Camp T Community,” a ritual Unit activity that establishes norms for the session pertaining to inclusion and acceptance.
