🏳️🌈 Fun Fact!
Happy pride month, everyone! Keshet LGBTQ Family Camp was founded at Camp Tawonga in 1998 by Deborah Newbrun, our former Camp Director. Keshet means “rainbow” in Hebrew, and at Tawonga, Keshet is one way we celebrate the wide arc of diversity within our community (see Keshet in action here). Join other LGBTQ+ families on August 19-22 for Family Camp this year.
The Tawonga Tidbit provides a daily dose of Camp with our kitchen menu, Camp birthdays and more. We hope this series brings you a bit closer to Tawonga!
