Today’s Kitchen Menu:

  • Breakfast: French toast casserole with blackberry compote, hard-boiled eggs and bananas
  • Lunch: Quesadillas with black beans, cheese, sour cream and salsa / Dessert: apples
  • Dinner: Banquet! Roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mushroom gravy, cranberry sauce and green beans / Dessert: what else? pumpkin pie!

Vegetarian options are available for every meal, in addition to a “middle table” with alternate meal options for anyone who does not like what is being served.

Where the Campers Are:

Eilat bunks and B-2 are on day hikes today with their counselors and backpacking leaders. The bunks in Eilat are B-5, B-6A, B-6B, G-5 and G-6. All other units are in Camp.

The different day hikes Taste of Camp campers are going on include to the following beautiful destinations: Wapama Falls, Early Intake, Lake Eleanor, Carlon Creek, Big Sequoias and Luken’s Lake.
