Welcome, Session III!

Tons of smiling campers ran off the buses and into one another’s arms as they were reunited with friends and counselors from past summers.

With roughly 90 percent returning campers, many were thrilled to come back to the tall trees for a wildly-anticipated Session III.

We all enjoyed a chicken (or tofu) teriyaki dinner followed by a Tawonga first: seven special campers and counselors helped us set a Tawonga-Birthday-World-Record, with each person being lifted in a chair and receiving a “gelatinous glob of gooey glucose, a sacred sampling of sweet sucrose,” known as a birthday bowl. Everyone gets to make two wishes –

“One for yourself and one for the whole world.”

We all wish for a fantastic Session III to come!
