Welcome, Session IV!

Session IV began today with big smiles and lots of energy as campers were introduced to their bunk mates, bunk counselors and unit staff before taking a tour of Camp, known as “havurah hikes.”

Central to our Mission is our bunk-centric philosophy– almost every activity during the day is done within the bunk group, creating cohesive and bonded friendships we hope will last a lifetime.

All of Camp enjoyed a fantastic chicken (or tofu!) teriyaki dinner in the Dining Hall followed by a joyful Song Session where songleaders introduced some Camp classics like “Country Roads”, “B’tzelem Elohim” and “Lean On Me”.

After dinner and Song Session, everyone gathered at the Stage for the Opening Campfire where every cabin performed their bunk cheer or skit, with every single camper introducing themselves on Stage to the rest of Camp.

Evening programming ended tonight with everyone joining to sing “Hashkiveinu” and “Friends, Friends, Friends” before heading to bed for a good night’s sleep before a first full day of Camp activities.
