Tawonga Tidbit – A Lot of Firsts

We only have a few days left of Session B! Everyone, from seasoned programmers to first time counselors, are coming up with never done before blocks to create a unique and memorable experience for campers.

Programmer, Kayla S., led a “weird block” for G-4 campers. Together, they wrote the wackiest love letters and got to pass them out to staff. At Arts and Crafts, AG-4 campers sculpted clay candle-holders for the next Shabbat. While kids have made ceramic candle holders before, these campers are the first to make them with clay.

Next door at the Farm, campers enjoyed the company of the Tawonga chickens and mama goat X-box and her new babies, Larkspur and Feldspar. A lot of firsts for our campers this session!

In addition to our daily gallery, we’ve included pictures from the Bagel Run hike to Clouds Rest in Yosemite. Photo credit goes to counselor Elad T. for capturing these beautiful moments.
